A historic site of great significance! A Civil War Monument that was erected in 1870 still stands tall over the town. Located in gorgeous Ottowa, IL, there are murals and statues commemorating our fallen heroes and historical moments. This was the site of the historical Lincoln-Douglas debate where Lincoln lost his bid for Illinois Senate. There are mansions owned by prominent figures to tour and a great photo opportunity to capture a piece of history.
